Malence is a settlement on the left bank of the river Krka in the Kostanjevica na Krki municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area was traditionally part of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Spodnjeposavska statistical region.[2]
A memorial to 25 locals from Kostanjevica who were executed on the spot on 21 October 1943 by the nazis during the Second World War.[3]
