Maindargi is a town and a municipal council in Solapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

It is one of the very good places for all to stay. Climate is usually dry throughout the year. Main occupation of the people is Agriculture. There is Shivachaleshwar Temple in Maindargi. Shri Shivachaleshwar was a Great Saint and helped poor and needy. Further there is also Shri Veerbhadreshwar Temple in Maindargi. Many people (Bhaktas) from outside visit Veerbhadreshwar Temple during Shravan month. Maindargi is also famous for handlooms. Weekly bazar is held on Friday. Nearby places are Akkalkot (13 km) (famous for Shri Swami Samarth Temple) and Dudhani (15 km). When to come? During Shivachaleshwar Temple yatra "Palaki" or during Shri Shivachaleshwar Jatra which is usually held during the month of December (Kannada).
