Madley Park
Location of Madley Park in Oxfordshire
Madley Park is a large housing estate in Witney, Oxfordshire. It has around 1000 houses, a primary school, two childrens play areas and a neighbourhood centre.
History
The first houses were completed in July, 2001. The estate gets its name from the brook which runs through it, which comes from the Saxon word madle, as the site was historically on the edge of a Saxon settlement.
