MTV Unplugged is the ninth overall and first live album by Polish singer Kayah. It was recorded on 28 November 2006 in film studio Toya in Łódź, Poland. With its release on 23 March 2007 it became first such production in central-eastern Europe. It is also her first album under her own label Kayax.
Kayah performed songs from previous albums ("Testosteron", "Dzielę na pół", "Na językach") as well as songs planned to be released on her upcoming new album Skała. Special guests included Anna Maria Jopek (on "Kiedy mówisz"), beatboxer Chesney Snow (on "Na językach"), 4-te string quartet, Cuban drummer Ariel Silva Valdes and vocalist Omniris Casuso Valdes. Other musicians included Krzysztof Herdzin, Marek Podkowa, Michał Grymuza, Adam "Szabas" Kowalewski among others. Two hundred people watched the concert live.
DVD and special CD+DVD were also released. DVD contained two more tracks not to be found on standard CD ("Cicho tu" and "Negue"), an interview with Kayah and 'making of' documentary.
MTV Unplugged peaked at #4 on Polish Album Chart[1] and in July it was certified Gold by ZPAV for selling more than 15000 copies.
