MRW

MRW is a Spanish Courier and Logistics company founded in Barcelona in 1977 by Francisco Martín Frías, its current CEO. It includes more than 1.370 franchises and 60 logistic hubs distributed in Andorra, Gibraltar, Portugal, Spain and Venezuela. Its team force exceeds 14.000 people. Even though its main activity is the express transport of documents, it offers other services such as pet transport, carrying out logistics campaigns, relational marketing and mailing services. The Social Responsibility policies of MRW have been awarded on multiple occasions. Public and private entities have recognized its strong involvement in social action issues (chapter which it assigns more than 1% of its gross annual turnover since 1993), its policy of hiring people with disabilities and its measures of balancing personal and work life that are at the disposal of every employee. Business schools and universities have incorporated its model of business and social policy as a method in their study programs. Currently, the MRW Case is studied at IESE Business School, the Enterprise Institute, the University of San Telmo of Seville, and it has even been presented as a case model at Harvard through ESADE Business University of Barcelona.
