The MISS-LOU Junior College Conference, also known as (MLJCC), is hosted by the National Junior College Athletic Association. Forming Region XXIII with the MACJC, the MLJCC is a junior college conference for many Tech and Community Colleges. Conference championships are held in most sports and individuals can be named to All-Conference and All-Academic teams. At one time, Meridian Community College in Meridian, Mississippi was a member of the MLJCC, however MCC left the conference in 2002 for the MACJC in order to cut travel expenses. While MCC was a member of the Miss-Lou, the men's soccer team won the NJCAA Div. I championship in 2000. MCC's baseball team also won several regional titles and made several appearances in the Junior College World Series.
