MEPACON is a three-day gaming convention currently held in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. The name is a contraction of Mid-Eastern Pennsylvania Convention. Originally, the convention was held in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania, but has also been held in Easton, Pennsylvania, once in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
MEPACON is held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. The spring convention is usually held in April and the fall convention is held the second weekend in November.
MEPACON is operated by a dedicated group of volunteers. Although the core of the group is essentially the same each year, new volunteers are constantly joining on an as-needed basis. The Convention is run by Ed Lehman, Director and Owner of MEPACON. He is supported by two Assistant Directors; Trisha Kelley as the Administrative Assistant Director and James Minor as the Assistant Director of Operations. Other core members of the MEPACON family include Bob Jones, Operations Assistant; Donald Kichline, Lead IT and Technical Support Assistant; and Natasha Lehman, Lead Family Support.
MEPACON also hosts special guests. A perennial special guest is horror fiction author CJ Henderson.
