M. Fred Bild is a former Canadian diplomat and current invited professor at the University of Montreal Department of East Asian Studies, the CÉTASE. He graduated from Sir George Williams College, presently Concordia University, in Montreal. He also studied International Law in London and he has a diploma from the École nationale d'administration in Paris.[1]
He was concurrently appointed as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Laos, Myanmar and Thailand then to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam then the People's Republic of China and Mongolia.
