Ludvig Cæsar Martin Aubert

Ludvig Cæsar Martin Aubert (1807 – 1887) was a Norwegian philologist.

He was born in Christianssand[1] as a son of Benoni Aubert and Jakobine Henriette Thaulow and a second cousin of Latin philologist Ludvig Vibe.[2] Together with Ida Dorothea Mariboe (1811–1900) he had the son Fredrik Ludvig Andreas Vibe Aubert.[3]

He was a professor in Latin philology at the Royal Frederick University from 1840 to 1875, but his main work Den latinske Verbalflexion is largely obsolete.[1]
