Lota Station is a railway station on the Cleveland Line of Brisbane, Australia. It is part of the Queensland Rail City network.
It is in a transition precinct between Zone 4 and Zone 5 of the TransLink integrated public transport system.
History
In 1960 it became the terminus after the line beyond to Cleveland was closed. The line from Lota to Cleveland was rebuilt, and reopened on a new alignment to Thorneside in 1982 and Cleveland in 1987.
In 2006 the wooden rail bridge leading to the station from the north was replaced with a concrete bridge.[1]
