Loka pri Zidanem Mostu () is a village on the left bank of the Sava River in the Municipality of Sevnica in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[1]
The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Helena and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje.[2] It was originally a 13th century church that was restyled in the Baroque in 1740.[3]
The Slovene protestant preacher Primož Trubar served as priest in the village between 1529 and 1531, before his conversion to Lutheranism. This was his first ministry; he had been appointed on a personal recommendation from the Bishop of Trieste Pietro Bonomo.[4]
