Log is a village on the right bank of the river Sava in the Sevnica municipality in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Lower Sava statistical region.[2]

The local church is dedicated to the Holy Cross (Slovene: Sveti Križ) and belongs to the Boštanj parish. It is a medieval building with a 12th century Romanesque portal surviving in the nave. The belfry and choir are late 17th and early 18th century additions.[3]
