Llanmiloe is a village situated in the far south west of Carmarthenshire, Wales, nestled against the hillside between the villages of Laugharne and Pendine.
The area teams with wildlife in all its forms and is a paradise for bird watchers and all those interested in the natural world. This is due to the wide variety of habitat - dense woodland to the rear of the village, agricultural and marsh land cut by open drainage water courses (known locally as pills) to the front and sides, as the crow fly’s the seashore is only a few hundred yards away. There are areas designated as SSSI’s (Site of Special Scientific Interest) on the unspoiled MoD land immediately adjacent to the recreation ground.
