Little Dipper is a wooden roller coaster located at Six Flags Great America, an amusement park in Gurnee, Illinois. Little Dipper was built in 1950 by Philadelphia Toboggan Company and operated at Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park, Illinois in the Chicago metropolitan area until Kiddieland closed in September 2009. On November 24, 2009, Six Flags Great America purchased the ride for $33,000 at an auction of Kiddieland's rides. The ride reopened on May 27, 2010 in Bugs Bunny National Park with the entrance being in Yukon Territory. No major changes had been made to the ride.[1]
