The Killers, an American rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada, they have won twenty awards from eighty-seven nominations. Their 2004 debut album Hot Fuss, earned them five nominations at the 47th Grammy Awards and has sold over 7,500,000 copies.[1]

Their second album, Sam's Town was released in 2006.[2][3] It won Best International Album at the 2007 BRIT Awards where The Killers also won Best International Band. Their compilation album released in 2007, Sawdust, received a nomination for Best Album at the 2008 NME Awards USA. The band's third studio album, Day & Age (2008), was nominated for two BRIT Awards and seven NME Awards.
