List of Inocybe species
Inocybe is a large genus of mushrooms. It has about 500 members widely distributed in the northern hemisphere,[1] which include:
- Inocybe lacera
- Inocybe maculata[4]
- Inocybe oblectabilis
- Inocybe obscura
- Inocybe patouillardii[2]
- Inocybe rimosa (= I. fastigiata)
- Inocybe sororia
- Inocybe tricolor (psychoactive)
- Inocybe violaceocaulis[5]. (prev. I. geophylla var. lilacina) In Western Australia, what represents I. violaceocaulis was earlier referred to as I. geophylla var. lilacina by some Australian taxonomists, which Matheny & Bougher (2005) point to as a misapplication of the name I. geophylla var. lilacina.
