CNY average exchange rate is from China NBS and purchasing power parity of CNY is estimated according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, which maintain separate economic systems and separate currencies, are shown below for comparison purposes. These figures are shown in US dollars based on purchasing power parity estimated by the International Monetary Fund[1].
