Liosomadoras is a genus of catfishes (order Siluriformes) of the family Auchenipteridae. It includes two species, L. morrowi and L. oncinus.[1]
L. morrowi is distributed in the Ucayali River basin of Peru.[1][2]
L. oncinus is also known as the jaguar catfish.[3] L. oncinus has been found in the Negro and Branco River basins of Brazil, in Venezuela, and in the Orinoco River basin[1] It grows to 17.0 cm (6.7 in) TL.[3]
