Linapacan is a fifth class municipality in the province of Palawan, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 9,198 people in 1,721 households.
In 1954, the islands of Linapacan, Cabunlaoan, Niangalao, Decabayotot, Calibanbangan, Pical, and Barangonan were separated from Coron, Palawan to form the town of Linapacan.[1]
Linapacan is politically subdivided into 10 barangays.
