Lilli Promet (1922–2007) was an Estonian writer. During the Soviet occupation of Estonia in the 1960s, she was a member of the Communist Party.[1]

Promet was born on February 16, 1922 in Petseri to an Estonian painter, Aleksander Promet. After finishing Tallinn's 18 Elementary School, she entered the State's Art-Industry School in 1935, from which she graduated in 1940. Her family was forced to leave their home after the outbreak of World War II.
Promet died on February 16, 2007, her 85th birthday in Tallinn.
