Leucocoprinus is a genus of fungi in the family Agaricaceae. Its best known member is the yellow pot-plant mushroom (Leucocoprinus birnbaumii), found worldwide. The type species is Leucocoprinus cepistipes. The genus has a widespread distribution and contains about 40 species.[1]
