Leskovec is a small village in the hills to the north of Višnja Gora in the Ivančna Gorica municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]

The loacl church is dedicated to Saint Oswald (Slovene: Sveti Ožbolt) and belongs to the Višnja Gora parish. It is a medieval kbuilding that was restyled in the Baroque in the 17th century.[3]
