Leonardo de Matos Cruz (born April 2, 1986 in Niteroi), better known as Léo Matos, is a Brazilian right back who currently plays for FC Chornomorets Odesa in the Ukrainian Premier League.

As a promising youngster moved to Marseille at just 17 which wasn't a successful period. Returned to Flamengo for 6 months, then back for a second loan spell at Marseille, but again was only a reserve squad player.
Flamengo then sold their 50% ownership to other owners Tombense which now own him outright.[1] In the Season 2008, was on loan at Figueirense,[2] and then for the season 2009/2010 was loaned out to Vila Nova.[3]
Matos joined FC Chornomorets Odesa during the winter break in the 2009-10 Ukrainian Premier League season. The initial contract expired at the end of the season, but a new deal was signed shortly after.
