The Leader of the Labour Party is the most senior politician within the Labour Party in Ireland. Since 6 September 2007, the office has been held by Eamon Gilmore,[1] following the resignation of Pat Rabbitte as leader of the party.
The deputy leader is Joan Burton.[2]
