Lavrica is a settlement in central Slovenia. It lies to the southeast of the capital Ljubljana in the Škofljica municipality. The Ljubljana to Novo Mesto railway line runs through the settlement. The municipality is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola and is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.^[2]
