Laurie Weeks (born 5 April 1986 in Sydney, Australia) is a national representative rugby union footballer who plays professionally for the Melbourne Rebels. He made his debut for the Reds in February 2009 against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria. After a highly successful 2009 year playing for his Super 14 side, the Queensland Reds, Weeks was nominated as the Reds Rookie of the Year, Investec Super 14 Rookie of the year, and the Rugby Union Players Association Newcomer of the Year. In 2010, he signed with Super Rugby franchise the Melbourne Rebels for their inaugural season in 2011.[1]
