Deviations With Davenport 25 May The trio help Mr Davenport to write a hiker's guidebook to the area, but Foggy gets them completely lost.
According To The Prophet Bickerdyke 1 June The prophet Bickerdyke has predicted that the world is coming to an end. Clegg wonders if this information should be trusted.
Next Kiss Please 8 June Foggy bets that Nora Batty will kiss Compo by the end of the day.
Destiny And Six Bananas 15 June A mysterious beast has been spotted in the woods. The trio & Wesley try to capture it.
A Sidecar Named Desire 22 June Compo hires a motorbike & sidecar from Auntie Wainwright and takes Nora Batty for a ride in it.
  • Final appearance of Foggy, as played by Brian Wilde (Foggy is seen in some shots of the next episode, but is played by a body double).
  • This is the last episode not to have a Cold open. Although some subsequent episodes don't have it (albeit less frequent).

  • This is a 1 hour special
  • First appearance of Truly.
  • Final appearance of Foggy.
  • The second episode featuring two of the 'third men' (albeit Foggy being played by a body double as Wilde was unable to take part due to ill health), however they never converse.
  • Although Foggy is seen in some faraway shots, his face is obscured, and a body double is used.
