Langworthy Metrolink station

Langworthy Metrolink station is an on-street Metrolink station on the Eccles Line, between the town of Eccles and Salford Quays in the City of Salford, North West England.

It is located on the corner of Langworthy Road and Eccles New Road (A57). The area to the south and west of the station is largely commercial and industrial. The area to the north along Langworthy Road mostly comprises terraced buildings. The area to the east of Langworthy Road is currently undergoing intensive redevelopment.

This Metrolink station lies within ticketing Zone H.

Services

Langworthy is located on the Eccles Line with trams towards Manchester Piccadilly or Eccles stopping every 12 minutes during the day Monday-Saturday. Trams run every 12 minutes Monday-Saturday evenings and Sunday daytime and every 15 minutes Sunday evenings between Manchester Piccadilly and Eccles, which calls at MediaCityUK. ^[1].

Langworthy station is served by Bluebird service 27, which runs to Swinton and to Manchester via Pendleton, First Manchester service 33, which runs to Manchester and to Worsley via Eccles, with evening and Sunday journeys continuing to Wigan via Atherton, Arriva North West service 63, which runs to Manchester and to Brookhouse via Eccles, Arriva service 69, which runs to Eccles via Salford Royal Hospital and to Stretford via Salford Quays and Old Trafford. Also, stopping nearby is Maytree Travel service 9, branded as Salford Quays Link linking Salford University, Salford Crescent railway station and Salford Shopping City in Pendleton with Salford Quays and MediaCityUK^[2][3].
