Lang Zheng (Chinese: 郎征; pinyin: Láng Zhēng; born July 22, 1986 in Baoding, Hebei) is a professional Chinese footballer currently playing as a defender for Beijing Guoan in the Chinese Super League.

Lang Zheng began his football career with Hebei in 2005 yet he quickly caught the attention of Chinese Super League teams Beijing Guoan and Tianjin Teda.[1] He ultimately joined Beijing Guoan and would eventually make his league debut coming on as late substitute against Changchun Yatai on October 15, 2006 in a 1-0 win.[2] This was followed by another substitute appearance on the final day of the 2006 league season in a game against Xiamen Lanshi, which Beijing lost 2-0.[3] The 2007 league season would see Lang Zheng continue to further establish himself within the Beijing team when he started his first league game on June 16, 2007 against Tianjin Teda that Beijing lost 1-0.[4] He would remain a squad regular until the 2009 league season when he would eventually break into the first team and help Beijing win the league title as well as also scoring his first goal against Qingdao Jonoon on September 26, 2009 in a 1-0 victory.[5]
After spending several seasons behind Xu Yunlong and Zhang Yonghai in the centre of defence the new manager at Beijing, Jaime Pacheco would premote youngsters Lei Tenglong and Yu Yang into the senior squad and after making only three appearences for the team during the 2011 league season Lang Zheng was allowed to go on loan to Nanchang Hengyuan during the season.[6] At Nanchang Lang Zheng was brought in to help the team fight off relegation, he would go on to make his debut against Hangzhou Greentown on July 10, 2011 where he came on as a late substitute in a 1-0 victory.[7] He would make several further appearences for Nanchang and even score a goal against Shaanxi Chanba in a 3-1 victory on October 23, 2011 while he helpped them stay in the Chinese Super League.[8]
On March 26, 2011 Lang Zheng would make his senior international debut in a friendly against Costa Rica in an experimental team that also saw Jin Jingdao, Lü Peng, Ma Chongchong, Ye Weichao and Zhang Xizhe make their first appearance in a game that ended in 2-2 draw.
