in the summer of 1962 in August (before its release in France I now see)i was working near Amsterdam and saw this film in a Dutch cinema. I clearly recall that the experience was surreal and incomprehensible! There was I a Brit watching a French made film about an American car with a French soundtrack and Dutch subtitles.
