LTspice is a free high performance SPICE III simulator software.[1][2] LTspice provides a schematic capture and waveform viewer with enhancements and models to speed the simulation of switching regulators. Included with LTspice are macro models for 80% of Linear Technology's switching regulators and operational amplifiers models, as well as resistors, transistors and MOSFET models.

LTSpice is node unlimited and 3rd party models can be imported. Circuit simulations based on transient, ac, noise and dc analysis can be plotted as well as Fourier analysis. Heat dissipation of components and efficiency reports can also be generated.
