LEAP aims to provide better access to a range of education options for people who want to pursue learning from basic literacy to Higher Education. LEAP is implementing core government policy[2] through its development and implementation.
The main LEAP Centres are currently located in Haverhill[3], Mildenhall, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Beccles, Sudbury and Newmarket. These Centres are in partnership with Suffolk County Council and West Suffolk College, an established institution of ten years.
The Centres provide access to all education from leisure learning through to Higher Education. The Centres boast state of the art teaching facilities and IT suites and deliver high quality information, advice and guidance on education and careers advice.
The LEAP Points are located in Libraries and Children's Centres across Suffolk. These offer information and advice and sign-post to local learning opportunities.
People from all ages and backgrounds take advantage of LEAP for information and resources to education and training.
