L'Enfant (VRE station) is a commuter rail station located between 6th and 7th streets in downtown Washington, D.C.. It is served by the Fredericksburg Line and Manassas Line on the Virginia Railway Express. Numerous Amtrak trains pass through this station on the express tracks without stopping. But, during the week, 6 Amtrak Northeast Regional Trains stop here- Number 176, Number 171, Number 86, Number 174, Number 125, and Number 93/83.

Layout

There is one side platform on the north side of the station with 3 tracks passing through.[2] There are walkways on each side of the station that lead to 6th and 7th street respectively.[2]
