L'Âge des ténèbres (English: Days of Darkness, also known as The Age of Ignorance, accurately translated as The Dark Ages) is a 2007 French Canadian comedy/drama film written and directed by Denys Arcand. It is the third part of Arcand's loose trilogy which began with The Decline of the American Empire and the Academy Award-winning The Barbarian Invasions. It was screened out of competition at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.[1]
