Kyung Hee University is a private university in South Korea that is considered as one of the top institutions of higher learning in Asia. It is located in Seoul, with a second campus (Global Campus) in the suburban city of Suwon. KHU offers many degree programs fully in English. According to the Joongang Daily Newspaper's rankings on Korean universities in 2010, KHU was ranked as fifth among all comprehensive universities in Korea. Chosun-QS Asian University Ranking 2010 ranked Kyung Hee as among the top Asian universities. QS World University Rankings 2011 ranked Kyung Hee 245th in the world and 6th best in Korea.

Kyung Hee University is recognized as a top school in the fields of Asian medicine, economics, international business and trade, the arts, music and international area studies. It is also the only private university in East Asia teaching peace studies. In addition, Taekwondo of Kyung Hee University is the best recognized BPE degree course in the world.
