Kušernik is a small settlement in the Pesnica municipality in northeastern Slovenia. It lies in the Slovenske Gorice hills, part of the traditional region of Lower Styria. The municipality is now included in the Drava statistical region.[2]

A small roadside chapel in the settlement dates to 1909.[3]
