Kumplampoika is a village in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala, India.
Kumplampoika evolved out of "Kumbhi Ulavum Poika" which literally connotes the presence of "Kumbhi" (elephant) in the village a few hundred years back. However people began to settle down and now it is one of the reputed villages in Pathanamthitta district with all major facilities including school, hospital and henceforth. Kumplampoika is a village where people from different religions live peacefully. CMS High school which was started in the year 1907 is one of the prestigious institutions started by CMS missionaries which contributed to the growth of this village. Well known doctors, engineers, scientists, chartered accountants studied in this school. There are three churches, temples, branches of major banks, co-operative societies, a retail market, and a vegetable market. Kumplampoika is on the way to the famous pilgrim centre Sabarimala. Located between Ranni and Pathanamthitta, Kumplampoika is glorious for its scenic beauty and its harmonious relation between religious groups. This village also claims more than 90% literacy rate.
