Kumbher is a historical city and municipality in the Bharatpur district of Rajasthan, India. It was founded by a Jat chieftain Kumbh.

Kumher is located at .[1] It has an average elevation of 176 metres (577 feet). Kumher is also the birthplace of the illustrious Arya Samaji Vedic and Ayurvedic scholar, Pt. Satyendranath Vaidya (1902–1982).
As of 2001[update] India census,[2] Kumher had a population of 30,500. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Kumher has an average literacy rate of 84%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 95%, and female literacy is 75%. In Kumher, 90% of the population is under 6 years of age.
There are branches of some nationalised banks in Kumher, and also has the only automated teller machine between Bharatpur and Deeg.
