Kumarakoil is small but very old historical based temple village in Tamil Nadu, India. Kumaracoil, the name of the village itself, means the temple of Lord Muruga.
This temple is about 4 kilometers from Thuckalay in Kanyakumari district.It is situated on the mountain called 'veli malai' The 'Veli Malai'is believed to be a place where lord Muragan married the tribal girl Valli. There is also a spring on top of the mountain. NI college of engineering is also situated in this picturesque place.
