As of 2001[update] India census, Kulukkallur had a population of 25816 with 12159 males and 13657 females.[1] It is a very beautiful village having a lot of historical importance. 60-65 % of the population is "hindhu" rest is mostly Muslims. other religion is very very marginal. Almost 99% peoples are literate and 80% or more are having education more than matriculation. 30-50 % are graduates. 60-70 % of the males from this village are out of the sate like other villages in kerala, mainly in Gulf countries or other parts of India or abrod.
