Kronoby (Finnish: Kruunupyy) is a municipality of Finland.

Kruunupyy is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Ostrobothnia region. The municipality has a population of 6,740 (31 January 2011)[2] and covers an area of 752.64 square kilometres (290.60 sq mi) of which 40.3 km2 (15.6 sq mi) is water.[1] The population density is 9.46 inhabitants per square kilometre (24.5 /sq mi).

The municipality is bilingual, with the majority speaking Swedish (83.3%) and the minority Finnish (15.6%).[3]

Kokkola-Pietarsaari Airport is located in Kronoby.
