Krishnarajapura (Kannada: ಕೃಷ್ಣರಾಜಪುರ) is a suburb of Bangalore in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located 15 Kilometers from Banglore city railway station on Old Madras Road (NH4).

The Krishnarajapuram constituencey representative in the state of Karnataka was represented by Nandish Reddy who is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). Krishnarajapuram has one of the largest number of educational institutions in Bangalore. A lake called Yengaianna kere is in the area. The Yellammappa Shetty lake, situated just outside the eastern limits of Krishnarajapura, is the largest lake in Bangalore.

Connectivity

Krishnarajapuram has become an important station due to its placement on the outer ring road. It has a good connectivity through BMTC buses to South and East Bangalore areas. This station has helped decongest the Bangalore City Railway Station. Kishnarajapura also known as K R Puram. first cable stay bridge connected to NH4 located on the K R Puram railway station and outer ring road.Surrounding areas of K R puram railway stations are A Narayanpura, Vijanapura and Uday nagar.

Krishnarajapura has an average literacy rate of 78%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 83%, and female literacy is 71%.
