Kremerata Baltica

Kremerata Baltica is a chamber orchestra consisting of young musicians from Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania). It was founded by Gidon Kremer in 1997.

The name is a pun on camerata, the general word applying to various chamber music groups.

Kremerata Baltica has recorded nineteen[1] CDs. One of their recordings, After Mozart, won Grammy Award in 2002 in the Classical Music: Best Small Ensemble Performance category.
