Kotredež is a settlement to the north of Zagorje ob Savi in central Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Zasavje statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint James (Slovene: Sveti Jakob) and belongs to the Zagorje ob Savi parish. It dates to the 18th century.[3]
