Kotkhai is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shimla district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.
Kotkhai is located at .[1] It has an average elevation of 1,881 metres (6,171 feet). It the largest apple growing valley in Himchal Pradesh and has been a stupendous growth in the per capital income.
