Kotilingala is a Shiva temple in India, near Velgatoor, Karimnagar district. It is located on the bank of the Godavari River, and has a traditional Shiva temple for Hindus.
It is popular for its lingas.It is used to be first capital of shatavahanas. It was a port in their dynasty. There was trasportation facilities to the towns located on Godavari bank like Bhadrachalam. etc. This is 50 km from Karimnagar.
