Almost the entire population was forced to flee by serbian army at the beginning of the Bosnia war. The former village inhabitants are distributed in the majority today over the whole earth, well-known refuge states are: Australia, Germany, Canada, Croatia, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland and the U.S.A. So far excluding older citizens returned to Kornica.
