Koorkenchery

Koorkenchery is a southern suburb of Thrissur city in Kerala state, South India. It is a major residential and commercial area of the city. Sri Maheswara Temple is located there. The famous Pooyam festival is celebrated in the temple during the months of January and February. Kaavadiyaattom and Ezhunnullipu are the main events in the Pooyam festival
