Koglo is a settlement in the Šmarješke Toplice municipality in southeastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Southeast Slovenia statistical region.[2]
The local church is dedicated to Saint Leonard and belongs to the Šmarjeta parish. It is a medieval church that was restyled in the Baroque in the 17th century, but retains a number of its original Gothic features.[3]
