Knuckledust are a London-based hardcore band. The band was formed in 1996 when Nic, Ray and Wema contacted Pelbu to start a band. As the groups popularity grew, the band played with Agnostic Front, Warzone, Madball, The Misfits among others.
After the release of the first mini CD and 7" record in 1997 the band were soon offered their first album deal by Blackfish records in 1998. The success of this was to become apparent in 1999 when the album 'Time Won't Heal This...' was licensed by a US label after continuing sales in Europe.
Time Won't Heal This was considered a success in the UK but still lacked the bigger European market. In 2002 KD were offered a contract by Europe's Gangstyle Records with their album 'Universal Struggle'.
After completing the Eastpak Resistance Tour in 2003 the band were well on the way to becoming one of Europe's better known Hardcore acts.
Knuckledust have toured with the likes of Blood For Blood, Suicidal Tendencies, Stampin' Ground, Sworn Enemy, The Business, and Hatebreed and are involved with a number of other bands. Pelbu also helps run the DIY hardcore record label 'Rucktion Records'.
With Gangstyle changing name to GSR Music, Knuckledust have since released 'Unbreakable' and released 'Promises, Comfort Fools' in October 2007. From 1996 until the present day Knuckledust has had the same line-up.
